LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM

• AWA offers low cost spay/neuter options to pet owners in the area through a transport program.  Spay or neuter at a private veterinarian's office can be in excess of $250.  Our program allows your pet to have the same surgery for less.  This service is provided on the second Monday of every month EXCEPT for December.

• The cost of the surgery depends on animal species, age, weight, and reproductive status of females.  Please call for current pricing.

• Drop-off and pick-up is in Belwood (in Upper Cleveland County).  Carriers are provided for dogs, and available for cats with a deposit.  Surgeries are performed in the beautiful and state of the art facilities of Humane Society of Catawba County in Hickory and Claremont by a licensed veterinarian.  Click here to visit their website and learn more about their facilities!

2.  fee(s)  (do not mail cash)

3.  proof of current Rabies vaccine

4.  working phone number on the registration form
