RESOURCES FOR EMERGENCY VETERINARIAN CARE
For unforeseen and emergent situations, you may be eligible for veterinary assistance. You must call our main line (704-487-6555) to discuss the circumstances, and be able to provide your own transportation to and from the veterinary hospital. Emergency vet assistance is not guaranteed.
In cases where your pet may need emergency veterinary care outside normal business hours, please see the list of area facilities below. (You must click the dropdown arrow to expand the information included for each county.)
The emergency and urgent care clinics listed below are provided for informational purposes only. Association for the Welfare of Animals (AWA) does not provide medical advice. We are not affiliated with, nor do we recommend one provider over another. While AWA has provided the information in good faith, we make no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of any service.
For the health and safety of your pet, we encourage you to research local emergency and urgent vet care clinics prior to the need so you are well prepared for emergencies. Furthermore, we recommend that this information be stored in multiple places, for example a notes app on your phone, a printed copy in your house, and a printed copy kept inside your vehicle's dash.
